From Stubborn Dirty Stained Holds to Gleaming Clean Like NEW, without the time consuming scrubbing!
Holds Like New!
At Akse Chemicals we have formulated a revolutionary system to efficiently and economically clean climbing holds, back to an ‘As New’ condition without damaging the hold or labour intensive 
scrubbing!
1st Part – Akse Hold Like New pack 1, The first phase of the process, sees the holds dunk washed for 5-10 minutes in our environmentally bioderadeable mild acidic solution. Once the acid has done its job and the holds have stopped fizzing, the chalk has been degraded and dislodged and the holds should be allowed to drain over the pack 1 tank for a few moments.
2nd Part – Akse Hold Like New pack 2 – The Shoe Mark Remover , then place the holds in the akse shoe mark removers solution. Some holds will only need the first phase of the process and can be rinsed off and not undergo the 2nd phase.
Where the second stage is needed these holds are placed in the 2nd solution and may need to be left for up to 1 hour. This lets the strong rubber removing compound get to work while you / your staff can get on with running the climbing centre!
After approximately 1 hour the Akse Shoe Mark Remover will have worked its magic and your holds will look so much cleaner. Again lift the holds out of the dunk tank and let them drain over the 
2nd tank. Once they’ve drained give them a good wash off with water and a mild detergent to remove the solution residues. An accompanying Akse Fragrant detergent is available to add to the wash water for this final phase.
Now it’s just a case of letting the holds air dry, or used a compressed air line / fan to speed the drying up. Now they look as good as new and are ready for resetting on your wall.
